Low-profile shower trays · Preston, shipped UK-wide
30mm of tray. Any colour, any size, any shape.
One solid, pre-sloped, fully waterproof tray, finished by us in whatever colour you want. Use it as a very low-profile tray beside your tiles — or run microcement straight over it and lose the edge completely. It does both.
Approved by the people who make it
We don’t make claims about ourselves. They do.
Anyone can call themselves a specialist. Being named by the manufacturer is the part that can be checked — so here are both of ours.
Start here
Three drain layouts. Pick the one your waste run reaches.
Everything else — the build, the warranty, the microcement-ready surface — is identical. The only real decision is where the water leaves.

Linear — long edge
The one most people want. Slot runs the full long wall, water sheets away from you, and the fall is invisible underfoot.
From £729

Linear — short edge
Same slot, turned 90°, for when the soil pipe comes in from the side. Our widest range — 700×700 up to 1000×1200.
From £729

Round — centre or offset
Four-way fall to a round grate. Cheapest to buy, easiest to plumb, and the one to use when the waste is already in the middle.
From £521.10
Two ways to use it
A seamless wet room, or simply a very low tray. Same tray.
It is 30mm thick in total. That single number is what gives you the choice — because 30mm is low enough to sit beside a tiled floor without a step worth noticing, and thin enough to go straight over the tiles that are already down.
Traditional
Finished in your colour, tiled up to
We finish the tray in any of the 21 colours before it reaches you, and your tiler lays gres or ceramic right up against it. The difference in level between tray and tile comes out at a few millimetres — not a step, not a lip, nothing anyone catches a toe on. You get a proper low-profile tray in a colour no tray manufacturer sells.
- Goes directly over existing tiles — no lifting the old floor
- Colour-matched to your tile, or deliberately against it
- Works with a normal glass enclosure or a screen
Seamless
Microcement carried straight over
The finish runs across the tray, off its edge and out over the floor as one continuous surface. There is no line where the shower starts, no grout, no trim. This is what the tray was engineered for — it is a substrate, not a bath.
- No visible junction between shower and floor
- Walls can carry the same finish, same colour
- Fully waterproof without tanking underneath
Any of the 21 colours, no minimum Any size — 41 standard or bespoke Any shape — L, corner, cut-out 30mm total thickness
Why it doesn’t fail
Most “wet room trays” are a board with a hole in it.
The common ones are extruded polystyrene or plywood with a thin waterproof skin. Cut one, load it, let one seam open — and the water is inside the floor, not on it.
- Core
Solid, not sandwiched
Resin-composite through the full ~30mm section. Nothing to delaminate, rot, or crush under a bench.
- Fall
Sloped at the factory
The gradient is moulded in, not screeded on site. Same fall every time, so the microcement stays an even thickness.
- Skin
Waterproof before you finish it
The tray is the waterproofing. Our microcement is fully waterproof over it — no liquid tanking layer needed underneath.
- Cover

Then pick a tone — and the floor picks it up too.
21 colours, all from the same system, so the tray, the floor and the walls can be one continuous surface. Or deliberately not.
How it works
Four steps, and no surprises at the end.
- 01
Send us the opening
Width, length, and roughly where the waste sits. A phone photo is enough. We’ll tell you which of the 41 standard sizes fits — or say honestly that you need a bespoke one.
- 02
Add it to your enquiry
Prices are on every page; nothing is hidden behind “call us”. Build the list, send it, and you get a written quote back — usually the same day — with delivery included.
- 03
Choose the tone
We can post you the physical Cementec swatch card before you commit. Screens lie about colour; a sample in your own bathroom light doesn’t.
- 04
Fit it, or let us
Buy the tray and hand it to your own tiler, or have our team do the tray and the microcement as one job — which is the only way the 15-year warranty applies to the whole surface.

Straight answers
The things people actually ask.
Can I microcement over any shower tray?
No — and this is where most seamless bathrooms fail. Microcement needs a rigid, non-flexing, fully bonded base. Acrylic, stone-resin and standard tiling trays all move or reject the bond. A MonoTray is built as a substrate: it is dimensionally stable and primed to take the finish directly.
Is it really waterproof without tanking underneath?
Yes. The tray is a solid waterproof body, not a board with a membrane on top, and our microcement system is fully waterproof in itself. What still matters is the junction — tray to wall, and around the waste — which is where we use tape and the flexible membrane.
Do you deliver, or do I collect?
We deliver anywhere in mainland UK, free over £500. Trays are heavy and awkward; the pallet arrives with a tail-lift. Preston collection is fine too if you’d rather.
My enclosure is a strange size.
Send the dimensions. Bespoke trays are made to your footprint with the drain where you need it, quoted individually. The 41 standard sizes cover most rooms, but a loft ensuite or a boat rarely lands on a round number.
Can I buy the tray only, and fit it myself?
Absolutely — the tray warranty stands on its own. The 15-year warranty on the finished surface is the one that needs our team, because we can’t warrant somebody else’s microcement.
Not sure which tray?
Send us the size of your enclosure.
Tell us the opening and where your waste runs, and we’ll tell you which tray fits — or quote a bespoke one. Same day, usually within the hour.
